In the previous lessons, we have discussed the differences between pome fruit (apple, pear, quince) and stone fruit (peach, apricot, plum, cherry) 

Pome fruit produce on spurs and stone fruit produce on water sprouts. While these two classifications of fruit can be pruned similarly, each and every fruit tree has it's own habit and each one will need to be pruned differently.
